  1. The Cuckoo Cup: - Unfortunately, Fife Floorball has been forced to withdraw from the Cuckoo Cup event. This is enormously disappointing and unfortunately outside of our control. We remain in touch with Fife and hope to facilitate a game with them at some point in the near future in 2020. - The Executive Committee are currently looking into alternative options for the tournament including reaching out to the QUB Hockey team to enquire if they would be interested in a match, or, temporarily partitioning QUBUF into two teams to complete for the cup. At this time, we remain committed to hosting an event on March 21st. -As a result of these recent events, the Executive Committee is withholding the spending of any of the sponsorship money associated with the Cuckoo Cup event in case that these funds need to be returned. This may have some impact upon the purchase of the team kit (see article 2 of this post). - The club is looking into accommodating some members of the local press for the event. - The club is looking into accommodating a live stream of the event, potentially though Facebook Live.

  2. Club Equipment and Kit: -As a knock-on impact of the Cuckoo Cup, the Executive Committee has decided to temporarily pause the purchase of the team kits, subject to a financial reassessment. -We remain committed to the purchase of the team kits as soon as possible - we hope to be able to place the order by the end of February 2020.

  3. Ulster University Unihoc-Floorball Club -We have made contact with some students at the University of Ulster with regards to establishing a team there. -We are working with the QUBSU, UUSU and the UK Floorball Federation to aid Ulster in establishing their own team.

  4. Minor Notices: - Notice will be served regards to the annual AGM which will take place on Tuesday 24 March 2020. - Notice will be served to members regarding the ratification of the new Club Constitution in advance of UKFF membership. - Club members are encouraged to consider if they would like to take part in the Organising Committee (OC) of 2020/21.
